Poverty, child abuse and education are major concerns for children on the three Caribbean islands of Bonaire, Saba and St. Eustatius. Yet the children on the islands say they are generally satisfied with their lives and report relatively few negative experiences during the Covid crisis. This is the conclusion reached by Margrite Kalverboer, the Ombudsman for Children, in our report.
